Bordeaux Bank-Mates

Inspired by the left and right banks of the Bordeaux region, these two wines are sourced from high elevation plantings in SeVein, located on the southern border of the Walla Walla AVA.

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of fruit from Southwind Vineyard and Grosgrain Vineyard. Southwind sits at the top of the next ridge over from our estate at a similar elevation (1400') with similar shallow silt soils over fractured basalt. Fine tannin and aromas of black cherry, red currant, tomato leaf, singed oak and wet stone.

2022 Maison Grosgrain

With 50% Cabernet Franc, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot sourced entirely from Grosgrain Vineyard, Maison leans more heavily into the lush aromas of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. More approachable while young, this is a wine to enjoy while your Cabernet Sauvignon bottles slumber. Deep ruby hued with plush body and aromas of red and black currant, peppercorn and carob.
