Red Heaven Vineyard
Red Heaven Vineyard is situated about two-thirds of the way up the slope of Red Mountain and is a signature site from one of Washington's greatest terroirs. While Red Mountain is known for powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, our Grenache from Red Heaven is consistently one of our most soft, refined, and elegant examples, which is why we often select it to be highlighted as a single vineyard wine and a counterpoint to our more structured Grenaches from the Walla Walla Valley.
Fermented cool with gentle punchdowns, resulting in a perfumed and elegant style. The wine presents a vibrant, translucent ruby hue with notes of ripe, peak-season cherry, strawberry, red plum and nutmeg.
Aged 11 months in neutral French Oak barrels.
