Just the second release of our estate Grenache, the 2024 was the first vintage to feature Clone 362 of the variety, the third to be planted at Grosgrain Vineyard. We enjoyed the clone so much that it makes up the entirety of the blend in this vintage. Imbued with volcanic energy from the high-elevation (1400') fractured basalt terroir, this wine is a classic iron-fist-in-a-velvet-glove. Light in color and fresh in style, but with a richer texture and firmer tannin structure than Grenaches from elsewhere in the region, this is a wine that should reward some additional time in bottle.

Fermented cool with gentle punchdowns, resulting in a perfumed and elegant style. Deep translucent ruby hue with youthful tannin and aromas of cherry liqueur, pink peppercorn, volcanic stone and wild Walla Walla sage.

Aged 11 months in neutral French Oak barrels.
