2024 Chenin Blanc

We last worked with Chenin Blanc from Willard Farms in our very first vintage, 2018.  Back then, we made the wine as a pét-nat style sparkling wine.  With low yields in Walla Walla in 2024 due to a winter freeze, we decided to bring back the Chenin for one vintage only, but this time as a still wine!  Planted in 1980, these are huge, gnarly vines that are truly impressive to see.  Barrel-fermented and aged on the lees with no stirring for about a year, this Chenin balances richness with racy acidity making this a versatile wine for pairing at your table.

Bright yellow/green hue with steely acidity and aromas of pear, lemon, lanolin and stone.

Aged 11 months in neutral French oak.
