2023 Stonewashed

 

Our third edition of Stonewashed consists of Syrah (75%) and Mourvèdre (25%) from the famed Stoney Vine Vineyard. Found in the heart of the Rocks District of Milton Freewater, a sub-appellation of the Walla Walla Valley that is known for its rocky surface and wines with a distinct savory profile. Our goal with this wine is to explore a more elegant side of this terroir and the long moderate 2023 season allowed us to dial this style in perfectly with our blend.

 

Pale purple hue with a light and bright tannin and aromas of blackberry, Italian plum, black pepper and tobacco.  Aged 11 months in neutral French oak barrels.
