Kenny Hill is a unique site located at high elevation in an area of the Walla Walla Valley known as Mill Creek. Mill Creek is essentially a transition from the valley into the Blue Mountains, which benefits from the additional rainfall due to the rain shadow effect of the mountain range. This makes it one of the few areas of our valley that can be farmed without irrigation. The result is a bit more structured than many of our other grenache sites, with deeper color and fuller body. A tru vin de garde that is drinking well now, but should evolve well over the next decade.

Deep, dark ruby hued and structured with fine tannin and pronounced aromas of cherry liqueur, plum, allspice, cocoa and graphite.

Aged 17 months in neutral French Oak barrels.
