75% Syrah, 13% Grenache, 12% Mourvèdre
Immersion dyeing is a process where fabric is dipped in a bath of various dyes to blend colors, which bleed into each other creating unique patterns, a process that is illustrated by the label of this wine created by our co-owner Kelly.
The 2022 vintage is based on the Syrah grape (75%), is blended with Grenache (13%) and Mourvèdre (12%), which combine to create this unique expression of the terroir in an around our estate Grosgrain Vineyard, located on a basalt ridge in the Southern reaches of the Walla Walla Valley. The predominant Syrah component is from Grosgrain Vineyard with the Grenache and Mourvèdre coming from our neighboring vineyards: Seven Hills and XL.
Deep ruby and structured with refreshing acidity, fir myouthful tannins, and aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, sage and flint.
Aged 11 months in neutral French Oak barrels.
13.4% alc., 190 cases produced
