2022 XL Vineyard Mourvèdre
A blend of 83% Mourvèdre and 17% Grenache, all sourced from XL Vineyard, which is situated mid-slope on the north facing side of a basalt ridge near the southern border of the Walla Walla Valley, and just over the hilltop from our south-facing estate Grosgrain Vineyard.
Deep ruby with an attractive nose of berry bramble, black pepper, wild sage, and hoisin. Fresh and lively, this is approachable now, but would reward a few years of cellaring. Aged 11 months in neutral French oak barrels.
