2022 Grosgrain Vineyard Grenache

As with the Carignan, we've produced Grenache before, but this is the first from our estate Grosgrain Vineyard. Similarly imbued with volcanic energy from the high elevation basalt terroir, this wine is a classic iron-fist-in-a-velvet-glove.  Light in color and fresh in style, but with greater structure than our other Grenaches and one that should reward some additional time in bottle.

The wine presents a vibrant, translucent ruby hue with notes of pomegranate, red plum, ripe cherry, allspice and wet basalt.

Aged 11 months in neutral French oak barrels

100% Grenache • 14.4% alc • 140 cases produced
